Health & Safety Protocols
At The Optimum Care, your health and safety are our highest priorities. We maintain rigorous preventative measures guided by the CDC, state health departments, and infectious disease experts to protect every patient and team member who enters our facilities.
Our Safety Commitment
- Daily Staff Screenings: All employees perform daily health self-assessments. Any staff member exhibiting symptoms is required to stay home.
- Enhanced Disinfection: We have implemented strict, ongoing protocols for hand hygiene and the continuous disinfection of all surfaces and clinical equipment.
- Limited Capacity: To ensure a safe environment, we ask patients to limit companions to only those necessary for transportation or physical assistance.
Patient Health Guidance
If you are unwell, please stay home and consult your physician. Contact our center to reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing:
- Respiratory Issues: Cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.
- General Illness: Fever, chills, fatigue, or body aches.
- Sensory Changes: New loss of taste or smell.
- Other Symptoms: Headache, sore throat, congestion, nausea, or diarrhea.
Flexible Care Options: Telerehab
If you are unable to visit us in person, your recovery doesn’t have to stop. The Optimum Care offers HIPAA-compliant Telerehab services. This allows you to connect with our licensed therapists through secure, web-based technology from the comfort of your home.
How You Can Help Prevent Illness
We encourage our community to follow these essential hygiene practices:
- Hand Hygiene: Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid Touching: Keep hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Respiratory Etiquette: Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue and dispose of it immediately.
- Social Distance: Avoid close contact with individuals who are ill.
Thank you for partnering with The Optimum Care to keep our patients, employees, and families safe.
